Facts, what even are they? Pieces of information? Do they even need to be true? And if so for how long do they need to be true in order to be deemed a fact? For example, you might consider the immense shift humanity went through when we began to accept that we revolved around the sun and not the other way around.

For centuries, it was the fact that we were stationary, but even with all that time behind it, one single change brought that fact tumbling down. So perhaps what we have learned here is that it is not about the fact itself, but about being up-to-date on what is still fact and what has become fiction with time. And as such we present you with this list of things you always believed to be true, that turned out to be wrong. Because you never know when we will find out that the sky is actually a light shade of pink.
